Now I'm wondering if I should rather save the ideal answer as a dataset item, because that way I can have all the improvements that need to be fed back into the RAG available separately in the Langfuse UI

Sure, otherwise I'd be forced to connect a db in the application I'm building at work to store feedback, and personally I don't like the idea of storing this data separate from langfuse traces 😛
