In Prompt Management, Text prompt is the primary/default option for new prompts. That made me wonder if I should be using text prompt instead of chat prompt. After consulting the OpenAI docs, I confirmed that chat prompt is the way to go (at least for them).
My suggestion is to make Chat the default prompt type when adding new prompts, especially if that is what is most used now.

agree, this is a good take
just double checked, there are way more text than chat prompts on our cloud instance as text prompts can be used more generically (I assume). Was it difficult for you to find the chat option when creating a new prompt?
It wasn't difficult to find. It just made me wonder if somehow, I was doing AI wrong, so I lost some time making sure I wasn't behind the times.

Yes agree, you aren't doing it wrong, just some people do not use chat prompts when they e.g. use this for the system prompt in a more complex agent only where they do not really need the prompt to be a chat prompt
